Counselling
I offer a person-centred counselling service which is a type of talking therapy.
The focus is on you and what you decide to explore in the session.
You will be encouraged to talk about your thoughts and feelings with a trained therapist who will listen and support you in a confidential and non-judgemental setting.
Person-centred counselling rarely includes advice giving and although at times we may discuss coping mechanisms or suggestions, this is not the primary focus.

I am a qualified and experienced counsellor based at Friarswood Clinic on Priory Road, Westlands, Newcastle-under-Lyme—just 5 minutes from Keele University and 10 minutes from Staffordshire University by car.
I have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent clients, though my practice is open to people from all backgrounds and experiences.
Alongside my private practice, I work as a University Counsellor, where I also provide line management and support to placement counselling students.
With over seven years of experience in the mental health field, I have worked extensively in bereavement therapy and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am also accredited by the RNIB and experienced in counselling both children and adults.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in person-centred theory, offering a supportive and empathetic space tailored to each individual’s needs.
Supervision
Clinical supervision for qualified or trainee counsellors with a person-centred approach.
I hold a supervision qualification from Staffordshire University.
