Using AI as a therapist? - I get it. I have asked AI for advice on some issues myself, but here's what I found - It will find a way to agree and collude with you. It makes mistakes ( so do therapists,) It doesn't care - because it can't, It doesn't pick up the subtle nuances of your personality, your body language, It hasn't experienced life, grief, abuse, confusion. It doesn't offer you a comfy chair or a cuppa - or allocated time that's for you only to attend to yourself.
