Hello, hello! I am delighted to share that I have now achieved BACP accreditation!

What Does BACP Accreditation Mean?

If you’re looking for a therapist, you might notice the term *“BACP Accredited.”* But what does it mean—and why does it matter?

The BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) is a UK professional body for counselling and psychotherapy. Accreditation is a quality mark that shows a therapist has gone beyond standard membership to demonstrate advanced training, substantial experience, and a strong commitment to ethical practice.

To become accredited, a therapist must:

* Complete BACP-recognised training

* Log at least 450 hours of supervised client work

* Commit to ongoing professional development

* Follow the BACP’s Ethical Framework

* Pass a thorough assessment process

⭐️Why It Matters

Choosing an accredited therapist gives you added peace of mind. It means they’ve been independently assessed, are accountable to a professional body, and are committed to safe, effective, and ethical care.
